Pillbox [shown on German map of defences in East Kent]. On coast between Hythe and Sandgate. (1)

The type 24 pillbox referred to above (Source 1) is visible on aerial photographs and has been mapped part of the South East Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey NMP. The pillbox is located at TR 18162 34704, on the south side of the Princess Parade. The pillbox was removed after the war. (2)
