A set of pipes was observed during a walkover survey of the area undertaken in 2004. They ran east-west across Craylands Gorge. The two pipes were small and surrounded by insulation and packed within a tin sleeve made up of short sections. The whole was supported on series of iron framed supports, the width of which suggests that originally a second line of pipes existed. They are not represented on any of the maps or plans of the area but probably date from the second half of the 20th century. (1)
