Bartholomew's Hill, Swanscombe, surface finds of 12 handaxes and 3 debitage found in late 19th Century. Handaxes are of various types and in abraded condition, found by H Stopes and his daughter Winnie, and now part of the Stopes Collection in NMW Cardiff (1). Site now quarried away and was assessed/ visited as part of the KTG ME site survey (2).
