4 Paleo. Handaxes counted by F. Wenban-Smith. [1]
This record covers three handaxes, one of the original four now (as of the 2022 Palaeolithic HER review) having its own separate record (MKE960). Material from the locality was recorded by Roe in the 1960s (2). Then (3) one of them was described as being a twisted ovate, and one as a white-patinated bout coupé. Locality then listed in the Southern Rivers Project in the 1990s (1) based on these earlier reports.
