Palaeolithic flint artefacts including a handaxe, a core and 9 pieces of debitage were discovered from Galley Hill, Swanscombe. Precise location and circumstance of their discovery is not known. They area held in Stopes' flint collection at NMW Cardiff, all found by other people and then given or sold to Stopes (1).
