Several Palaeolithic handaxes and flakes at East Hill House, Dartford, found during evaluation and then subsequent excavation at the site of the Later Prehistoric, Roman and post-Roman remains. Flakes were residual in post-Palaeolithic features, or were found in the underlying Dartford Heath terrace gravel (1, 2). Record in SRPP (3) of handaxes and debitage previously found at the site by Mr G Treveil and retained by him
