One handaxe from bottom of Oakfield Lane, junction with Lowfield Street, Wilmington, seen by Roe in Dartford Museum (1) and also mentioned by Wymer (2). Find is equated with Brotherwood's Pit to the south in SRPP (3) but no basis for this. Brotherwood's Pit deposits described by Shephard-Thorn (from Dewey's notes) as very disturbed with mixed masses of Coombe Rock. (4)
