One large well-made and bluntly-pointed sub-cordate Lower Palaeolithic handaxe with rounded tip and thicker partly-worked butt, in very fresh condition and unpatinated apart from a few small patched of faint blueish-white patina on one face, and made of Bullhead Bed flint, found in March 1991 30-50 cm from g-surface by Mr J Walford when digging hole to plant tree. Mentioned by Halliwell 1992 (1), Halliwell and Parfitt 1993 (2) and included in the Southern Rivers Project (3, 4)
