Westbere, nr Sturry - numerous Palaeolithic handaxes (n=27) and other artefacts (including one retouched flake-tool) recovered from area to east of Butts public house. Seen by Roe in British Museum collection (1), then included in Southern Rivers Project (2, 3). No info on provenance of material or circumstances of discovery
