Reasonably large collection of Palaeolithic finds - four handaxes, one retouched flake and ten flakes - from Staines Hill, Westbere seen by Roe (1) in collections of British Museum and Plymouth Museum, but no info on provenance and circumstances of recovery. Included in Southern Rivers Project (2, 3) as part of general Westbere material, although pit at Staines Hill at NGR 618470 161030 shown on OS mapping of 1896 and 1907
