Handaxe surface findspots at Sleed Wood first reported by Crellin (1), then Halliwell and Parfitt give more precise info on two different handaxe findspots at the location (2), this one taken as "a". Site later included in Southern Rivers Project. Crellin's HA looks quite bout coupe; Halliwell & Parfitt give very precise findspots for two handaxes, but uncertain which handaxe is from which findspot. In the Stour Basin Palaeolithic Project Francis Wenban-Smith suggested that "a" is most likely to be the possible bout coupe in Crellin 1974(3, 4).
