"Levallois chipping floor", from above terrace gravel at Riverdale, Canterbury, below 2 ft of grey clay in gravel pit north of Stour and a little east of Canterbury (1, 2, 3). Reported by Bowes (1) as at base of 2 ft of grey clay (which contained Roman foundations), at junction with underlying gravel (which was 12 ft thick). No info on recovery or subsequent whereabouts of reported Levallois finds.
