An artificial terrace of medieval or post medieval date detected during field survey 1991. The alignment could suggest it to be part of a park pale. (1)
In 1991 an assessment of the A260 Hawkinge to Denton by-pass and as part of that field walking was done. A park pale was observed as the eastern boundary of Park Wood. It is an artifical terrace. (2)
