Two Acheulian type ovates from Cockerhurst Farm, north of Shoreham. The two ovates are well made, 4.5 ins long and from a height of 450 ft O.D. It is difficult to believe that these specimens of St Acheul type do not date from the period of that name. (1) No further information. (2)

Finds were reported by Prestwich (5) and Evans (6), and illustrated by Larkby (7), then were recorded by Roe in the 1960s (8) and listed in the Southern Rivers Project in the 1990s (4).
