A middle Acheulian handaxe, found by Mr. H. Vosper in his garden at 46 Newman Road, Aylesham, is in the Royal Museum (no.9198). *see DRIF. (1) Mr. Vosper was not available and none of his neighbours could help in siting this axe. However the house plot is very small (17.0m x 6.0m) centred TR 2308252259. (2)
