A rough pointed handaxe with some fine working at the tip, lightly abraded, found at Chartham at an unknown date; in Royal Museum Acc. No. 8653, gift of Mrs. Back, Chartham (1, 2, 3)

. Also other handaxes known or reported from unknown locations in the Chartham area: Shrigles, Mountsford Bower and Mountsford Valley (4, 5). Additional reference (6).
