Campanile Mount [NAT]. (1) An elevated turf covered platform. No trace of building but the slopes are strewn with rubble. (2)
A mound in the Cathedral precincts was in existence by cAD1160 and is shown in the Canterbury Psalter. The Cathedral campanile which fell in the earthquake of 1382 stood on it. (3)
