Twitham Farm lay either side of a track from Crixhall to Twitham. It predated 1801 and is depicted on the 1st edition of the Ordnance Survey 6" map of the area, 1862-1875, as a number of buildings arranged around a yard. By the date of the 2nd edition of the Ordnance Survey 6" map, 1897-1900, the site had been cleared. Post-medieval domestic pottery and rubble was observed in the topsoil (1).
