A revival of the Gillingham Portland cement works in 1920 by an ex manager of a BPCM works. The firm moved site and in 1930 installed an Edgar Allen rotary kiln. Bought by Rugby Portland Cement Co. the works were closed in 1939. The site was cleared.(1)
