Many remains more-generally listed as "Aylesford" may come from this site, but 9 handaxes specifically linked to Nickel/Nico Pit are held at the British Museum, Maidstone Museum and Rochester Museum, of various shapes (pointed, sub-cordate and two cleavers), also 3 flake-tools. Finds noted by Roe (1), then included in the Southern Rivers Palaeolithic Project (2, 3) and examined for the Medway Valley Palaeolithic Project (4).
