A plano-convex flint knife together with a small flint scraper were found in the garden of 'Inglenook' Ashford Road, Bearsted by C. Harris. They were believed to be in the Maidstone Museum, but no record can be found of them.

A plano-convex flint knife together with a small flint scraper were found in the garden of 'Inglenook' Ashford Road, Bearsted by C. Harris. They are now in the Maidstone Museum. (1) 'Inglenook' has changed hands and is now called 'High Falcon'. The present owners were not aware of these finds. The house is situated at TQ 79805515. (2) The implements are probably in store in Maidstone Museum, but no records can be found concerning them. (3)
