In store at Maidstone Museum and listed as coming from Marden, are three Abberillian and Acheulean hand-axes and an ovate presented by Mrs. Kennard, and Acheulean hand axe from the Beult gravels, and a Me. Thames pick. No further information about these implements is held at Maidstone Museum; Mrs. Kennard is dead. (1) (1-2). See separate HER record for Palaeolithic handaxes.
