Summary
A structure believed to be an icehouse exists at Hales Place, located just to the east of central Tenterden in an area of woodland. Very little is known about the structure, but it does appear on the Ordnance Survey 1st edition map of c.1861 and is still visible on the 3rd edition of c. 1922.
