A 19th century icehouse is marked on the 1st-4th edition Ordnance Survey maps of c.1858-1940. The remains of this monument are now covered by a drive that leads to the car park on the Hall's Hole Road boundary.

Discovered during the construction of a road, the ice house is 4.5m in diameter and 6m deep. Nearby lake possible source of ice. (1) A drive to the car park on the Hall's Hole Road boundary covers its remains which have been filled in.(2)
