Stands 275m from the site of the demolished home. A steep, N-facing tunnel opens into the circular ice pit. Set into a soil bank, the structure is 1m above ground, and 3m below. Built of brick and stone,the building has a domed roof and the walls are painted white. Uncertain date of construction, poss later than 1778. (1)
