Workmen rebuilding a cesspool uncovered a wall of a Roman building, 2 feet thick(0.6m), of ragstone and bonding course of red tiles. Later a return wall was discovered. The nature of this second wall is unclear. Situated to the rear of 39 High Street. (1) NGR assigned by LMARG (2).

This may be part of a building excavated to the rear of 35 High St in 2001. (3)
