Site of Barn Home Farm, post Medieval farm identified from documents, demolished and site cleared. Part destoryed by road building (1)
In 1991 an assessment for the A290 Hawkinge to Denton by-pass was undertaken and Barn House Fram was noted as being mapped as extant in this locality in 1698 by Abraham Walter. No finds collected in 1991 seem to be associated with the farm, but a pond sited just to the west may be related to it. (1)
