A broad pit dated to the C13 with pottery evidence, was the only archaeological feature to be discovered. The pottery was of Sandy ware, small fragments of burnt daub and iron slag were also found. Additional trenching at TR 3113 4589 revealed only post medieval brick and tile fragments. (1-2)
