An unpatinated Levallois flake with facetted butt, a portion of a handaxe (see AO/59/81/3) and several patinated flakes were found by Burchell in 1930 at the southern end of the Longfield sandpit at TQ 62026782. They were discovered in brick-earth between two Coombe deposits (Lower Loam). The pit is now disused and is in process of being filled in. The implements are in the British Museum.
