Shipbourne, Home Farm, Puttenden Level: surface find of Palaeolithic handaxe. A small twisted ovate, slightly pointed, found at c. 240flint OD in late 19th century (1, 2). Recorded by Roe in the 1960s (3), then listed in the Southern Rivers Project in the 1990s (4).
