Ightham, Oldbury Hill, "Kilnfield" (locality aka "Bearfield"): surface-finds of numerous Palaeolithic handaxes in late 19th century, mostly held in collections of British Museum and Maidstone Museum, including "lance-head" and ovoid forms (1, 2). Locality reported by Evans (3), then finds recorded by Roe in the 1960s (4) and site listed in the Southern Rivers Project in the 1990s (5).
