Marden, general area: surface-finds of several Palaeolithic handaxes from the Beult gravels in Maidstone Museum, presented by Mrs Kennard (perhaps after AS Kennard's death in 1948) (1-2). Recorded by Roe in the 1960s (3), then listed in the Southern Rivers Project in the 1990s (4).
