(TR336551) IA Coins (3) Discovered near Worth by metal detection in 1985. TWRA-TYMAR-IA-25 Dated to c 100 BC of the Cantii. It is made of cast bronze potin, measures 17-17.75 mm and weighs 1.90 gm. The obverse side shows a celticized head of Apollo left and the reverse side shows a Celticized bull charging left, exergual line below. Catalogue reference VA 105-1. It is a Cantian A. The coin is worn. TWRA-TYMAR-IA-26 Dated to c 50-30 BC of the Cantii. It is made of AE, measures 13.5-15 mm in diameter and weighs 1.72 gm. The obverse side shows a wolf left ? tree behind, rings in field. The reverse side shows a Celticized horse right, rings in field. Catalogue reference VA 154-1. The coin is worn. TWRA-TYMAR-IA-27 Dated to c 10 BC-10 AD of the Atrebates, Eppillus. It is made of AE and measures 14-14.5 mm in diameter and weighs 1.71 gm. The obverse side shows a geometric pattern of curve-sided square around central disc, EP PI CO MF around square. The reverse side shows an eagle standing left, head looking right, wings spread, rings in field. Catalogue reference is VA 450-1. Type Atrebatic H. The coin is in worn condition but details clear.
