A Second World War slit trench is visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1946. The site has been levelled on aerial photograph taken in 1966. The site is centred on TR 25952 38650 and comprises a narrow ditch flanked by a spoil heap to the north. This site has been mapped from aerial photographs as part of the South East Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey NMP (Component 2) (1-2).
