The road block is defined by parallel lines of anti tank cubes or cylinders and other removable road blocks forming either a hedgehog or hairpin arrangement. The road block was removed after the war.

A Second World War road block is visible on aerial photographs taken in 1942 and has been mapped as part of the South East Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey NMP. The road block is located at the junction of Stade street and West Parade, Hythe and centred at TR 16234 34161. The road block is defined by parallel lines of anti tank cubes or cylinders and other removable road blocks forming either a hedgehog or hairpin arrangement. The road block was removed after the war.
