A Brick & Tile Works is visible on Epoch 1 (1877) of historic 1:2500 Ordnance Survey mapping [1], located west of Pennypot. The works cover an area of 2967 square metres and comprises several structures. The site is no longer visible on later mapping, including Epoch 2 (1899) [2].
The extent of the Brick & Tile works was given a monument polygon during historic mapping enhancement as part of Phase 1 of the South East Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey.
