Summary

An unidentified metal framework object on the foreshore - the shape indicated it was not a vessel but perhaps a derelict pontoon or platform. Possibly World War II material. Visible during an assessment of the north Kent coast by Wessex Archaeology in 2004.

Unidentified metal (?) framework object on foreshore - WWII material? (1). Metal object visible on foreshore mud, shape suggests this may be a derelict pontoon or platform rather than a wrecked vessel. (2)
