Summary

Jetty identified from aerial photographs but not on any maps. During a 2004 coastal survey an extensive derelict wooden jetty was noted in an advanced state of decay. The feature was semi-circular in shape with additional access for trains. Rail tracks were also noted.

Jetty (in use in 1944, 1946 & 1947 AP). Not marked on 1st 2nd or 3d ed OS mapping. Photographs (1-7). In 2004, extensive derelict wooden jetty were noted to be in an advanced state of decay. The feature is semi-circular in shape with additional access for trains. Rail tracks visible. (8)
