Remains of a jetty. Two rows of large wooden posts reinforced with concreted stone bases. Additional smaller timbers exposed along inside of structure. Reinforced posts stop short of current HW mark. Limits of structure at original HW mark may indicate age of structure. Further aligned timbers on land probably related structure on land maybe a quay. 2 circular wooden containers, possibly barrels, are sunk within jetty structure, their diameters are 40cm. Identical to those found within feature TQ 87 SE 1249. (1)
