Earthwork bank and ditch surrounding Langdon Battery. Remains of iron railing fence set into concrete footings. Described as an 'unclimable' fence 6'6" high and reinforced with barbed wire entanglement (dannert wire). The bank is well preserved on the eastern and southern side but has been ploughed out on the northern side. On the south side the earthwork comprises a double bank (3m wide and 1.25m high) and ditch (3m wide by 1m deep). The earthworks are heavily overgrown with scrub (1)
