The Canterbury UAD states that very little information has been found relating to this brewery.

Pigot's Directory for 1828-29 lists Thomas Watson Brewer, St. George's Place. By 1832 the brewery is listed in St. George's Place and the brewer is given as Saunder's Bennett Junior. Pigot's Directory for 1840 lists Charles Benham brewer, St. George's Place. However none of the Directories give a street number.

It does not appear on the 1st edition O. S. map of 1874, nor in directories of 1878 and 1882, thus it must have closed sometime earlier. Nothing is known of its size or exact location.
