Report by Evans (1) of finely made elongated ovate handaxe 5" long from brickearth at Faversham, white-patinated on one face and light grey on the other. Then Roe (2) reported two handaxes provenanced to just "Faversham", one in Ipswich Museum and the other in the Ashmolean, this latter possibly being the same one mentioned by Evans (1).
