Between 2005 and 2007 Canterbury Archaeological trust carried out a watching brief. A series of floors probably representing a medieval building that once fronted what is now Dymchurch Road. A pit had been dug through the earliest floor layers which had in turn been sealed below later floors. Further pits were cut through this floor and the whole was sealed below post medieval levelling deposits. (1)
