Summary

Possible Saxon inhumations found in 1923 in gardens on the lower part of Dane Hill. These burials are situated on the slope and bottom of adry valley, running north-west towards the sea. OD5-10m. Also 2 skeletons were found in Gasworks yard along with a knife.
