The site at Cliffs end Farm was excavated in 2004/5 in advance of new housing. Most of the activity discovered was bronze age or Anglo-Saxon in date. Limited medieval activity was found on the site.

In 2004/5 the site at Cliffs End Farm was excavated. A ditch, a pit and a possible tree throw were the only evidence of medieval activity found on the site. (1) (2)
