(TQ)465469 and (TQ)463469. A flint axe and scraper, apparently made from a broken axe, were found during ploughing operations on two nearly adjacent fields at Medhurst Row Farm, Edenbridge. Dr Oakley called them "late Acheulian" and added that they may have been transported a short distance by solifluxion. (1) TQ 4616 4691 Flint scraper: TQ 4630 4694 axehead. Both found in 1961 and given to Tunbridge Wells Museum. (2) Implements not on exhibition at Tunbridge Wells Museum. (3)

One of two Palaeolithic handaxes from Medhurst Row Farm, found on surface of two nearly-adjacent fields during ploughing, one of them broken and then further worked; unknown which one came from this field. Recorded by Roe in the 1960s (7), based on published report (1).
