A watching brief was carried out at Knole House, Sevenoaks in 2010. The watching brief took place within Green Court, Brewhouse Court, along the Lane to the north east and the Driveway

A Medieval stone wall was observed in a trench at the Main Entrance and was quite substantial. The line of the wall is on the same alignment and is of the same material was the current one. It is fitted tightly in its construction cut. (1)
