Roman coin found at Langdon Stairs (name TR 34454252). On display in Dover Museum is an uninscribed gold coin found at Low-water mark on the chalk at Langton Stairs, Dover, in 1887 (Acc. No. DA/1 1244). There is no record of the Roman coin being held by the museum. It mayhave been lost when the museum was partly destroyed in the last war. (1)
