In Dover Museum there is a hoard of 40 bronze celts which was found with a bronze sword or dagger handle in 1877 at Old Park (TR3044), Buckland, Near Dover. (1) The hoard is not in Dover Museum. It was probably lost when the museum was partly destroyed during the last war. (2-3) NB This is a duplicate of TR 34 SW 20, though the contents listed under the latter suggest some confusion with another hoard from Sittingbourne, also held by Dover Museum. (4)
