Palaeolithic handaxe in Ashmolean Museum, from Reculver (probably from beach), reported as "Early Acheulian hand axe" in museum report (1), additional reference (2) and site photographs (3-4). Possibly from J Evans' collecting visits in 1860s-1890s (5)
